Simple DIY Topical Hyaluronic (HA) Treatment for Hands and Heels

(No Water, No Emulsifiers or Preservatives)

My recipe is oil-based to avoid water+preservatives to make it an easy, natural recipe that’s stable on the shelf and great for hands/knuckles and feet. Heels often respond even better because they absorb oils deeply and benefit from the occlusive layer.

Ingredients (makes ~2 oz jar): (affiliate links included, thank you for your support!)

  • 1–2 capsules of (HA) powder (open and use the powder inside; 100–200 mg total)
  • 2 tbsp jojoba oil (mimics skin’s sebum, non-comedogenic)
  • 1 tbsp evening primrose oil or rosehip oil (rich in GLA/omega-6 for barrier repair)
  • Optional: 1 tsp shea butter or mango butter (for extra richness—melt gently if needed)
  • More Optional upgrades:
    • Stir in 1–2 tsp MSM powder for extra anti-inflammatory sulfur (dissolves easily in warm oil).
    • Add 1–2 Tbsp colloidal silver for antimicrobial support (blends perfectly in oil—no spoilage risk).

Instructions:

  1. Warm the oils slightly (low heat or warm water bath) until liquid.
  2. Stir in the HA powder until fully dissolved (it dissolves better in warm oil).
  3. Pour into a small glass jar.
  4. Let cool to room temp—it will thicken slightly.
  5. Apply a small amount to clean hands/knuckles/feet at night (wear cotton gloves or socks for best absorption).

This blend is water-free, so no preservatives needed. It lasts months in a cool, dark place. Jojoba + primrose/rosehip are excellent carriers—light, non-greasy, and deeply nourishing. It can be used all over the body. Stay tuned for a version specifically for the face!

Bonus tip: For even better results, take 100–200 mg HA orally daily alongside this topical mix. You’ll likely see softer, less cracked skin in 2–4 weeks.
